ORLANDO-SAN DIEGO AIR SERVICE TO RESUME

An Alaska Airlines jet taxis at Orlando International Airport.

Travelers will soon have nonstop air service again between Orlando and San Diego.

Alaska Airlines will begin flights to and from San Diego five days a week starting Oct. 11.

The Southern California city is currently the largest U.S. destination that doesn't have nonstop service to and from Orlando International Airport, according to the Greater Orlando Airport Authority.
