JET AIR, SPICEJET, KFA SURGE POST FDI ANNOUNCEMENT
On Friday, the government has allowed 49% investment by foreign airlines in aviation, reports CNBC-TV18.
Kingfisher Airlines, Jet airways and SpiceJet surged anything between 15%-20% on hopes that a foreign carrier will investment in them as the government has now allowed 49% foreign direct investment into Indian carriers.
While Kingfisher Airlines was quoting at Rs 12.97, up Rs 2.16, or 19.98%. SpiceJet touched a 52-week high of Rs 41.30 and was later up 15% to Rs 38.70. Jet Airways too jumped 3.28% to Rs 380.45.
