ETIHAD AIRWAYS CHIEF VISITS BOEING PLANT AND PREPARES TO TAKE DELIVERY OF MORE 777S, AWAITS ARRIVAL OF 787



Abu Dhabi,UAE : As Etihad Airways counts down to Boeing 787 Dreamliners, the airline’s President and CEO, James Hogan, along with airberlin [owned 30 per cent by Etihad] executives, on Wednesday visited Boeing’s Everett production facility, the carrier prepares to take delivery of more 777s and awaits the arrival of the 787 Dreamliner. 

Etihad has 41 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners on order, valued at $9.3 billion (Dh34.1 billion), the first of which arrives in the last quarter of 2014. The carrier has options and purchase rights for an additional 25 aircraft.
