AIR CHINA FREIGHTERS TAKE OFF FOR SCHIPHOL AIRPORT
Air China Cargo for the first time has begun scheduled freighter flights into Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and this is the carrier's third freighter route serving Europe.
The flag carrier also flies to Copenhagen and Frankfurt.
The first Air China Cargo scheduled flight arrived in Schiphol on September 12, following ad hoc charters in August.
The new B747-400 services are initially operating five times weekly from Shanghai, via Chengdu or Chongqing. The flights return via Tianjin. The airline has slots for up to 10 flights per week from Amsterdam. Some of the new services into Schiphol replace flights to Frankfurt.
